

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Conor Joseph Glenn, our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend of so many, who departed from this world far too soon at the age of 33 on September 1, 2023 in Chicago, IL. Conor left behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
Conor was born on June 12, 1990 in Downers Grove, IL. His charismatic personality and warm-hearted nature endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Conor was an accomplished chef and worked in several of Chicago’s top restaurants. He loved his work and was proud of a trip he took to Mexico, where he learned many local cooking traditions. Conor’s passion for cooking and sharing meals will be lovingly remembered by his friends and family. Conor was a lifelong athlete. He never missed a chance to play ball, beginning when he was very young until recently competing in a local men’s softball league. An avid sports fan, Conor especially loved cheering on Notre Dame football and attending games with his family.
Conor is survived by his mother, Mary Beth Glenn; his father, Kevin Glenn; his sisters, Caitlin (Neal) Dillon, Siobhan (Tyler) Jepsen, and Aisling (Brian) Lemke; his grandmother, Jewell Rita Mueller; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Conor was predeceased by his grandparents, E. Daniel Mueller, Joseph Glenn and Barbara Glenn.
A funeral mass will be held on November 11, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Mary's of Gostyn Church in Downers Grove, a celebration of life will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to be given to the family is kindly requested. The family will arrange all donations be given to a group that was near to Conor as well as to provide support for individuals to attend a retreat that Conor loved taking part in and was looking forward to participating in this upcoming fall.
