Casimer J. Rzegocki

Casimer J. Rzegocki, 81, of Orland Park, formerly of South Holland, IL was born January 4, 1937 and passed away November 11, 2018. Beloved husband for 62 years, of Corrine nee Walsh; loving father of Patrick (Paulette) and Karen (Dave) Irving; dear grandfather of Rebecca (Brian) Long, Suzanne (Dave Rak) Rzegocki, Melissa Irving and David Irving; brother-in-law of Patrick (Lucia) Walsh; he is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his sisters, Claire Stelmaszek and Irene Hutnik. Casimer was a member of the Local 134 IBEW and retired in 2000. He was a hard-working man, dedicated to his trade, and willing to share his time and his talent with anyone at any time. After retiring, he continued to work two jobs, one at Mercedes Benz and the other at Cog Hill. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9300 W. 167th Street, Orland Hills, IL 60487. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
