Billie Jean Bednarczyk

Billie Jean Bednarczyk, 92, of Chicago Heights, IL formerly of Park Forest, IL passed away on February 3, 2025. Loving mother of Dawn Bednarczyk and Gerri (E. Gregory) Hess; daughter-in-law, Deborah Wlenklinski-Bednarczyk (wife of the late Victor) cherished grandmother of Thomas C. McCall III, Jason T. McCall, Raymond (Michelle) Bednarczyk, II and Tanya M. Roate; dear great-grandmother of Thomas “Tj” C. McCall IV, Carter and Julia McCall, Dylan, Marisa and Karlee Bednarczyk, David, Allison and Zoey Roate; beloved great-great grandmother of 4.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Edwin F. Pierce and Raymond Bednarczyk; sons, Edwin F. (Pierce, Jr.) Bednarczyk, Victor R. (Deborah Wenk(Pierce) Bednarczyk, Dean P. (Pierce) Bednarczyk and Patrick D. (Pierce) Bednarczyk.

Billie Jean taught Kindergarten plus First grade for 25 years at Steger School District. She also waitressed and bartended at the Olympia Fields Country Club for about 30 years.

A committal service will be announced at a later date to be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
