Nanette was a devoted parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, where she served as a lector and sang in the choir. Her faith was a guiding part of her life, and she gave her time to church groups by helping other churches in need. Her faith was important to her, and she always found ways to give back to her community and friends.
Nanette loved to try new foods, but even more than that, enjoyed sharing meals with the people around her. She found joy in watching musicals and comedies, often drawn to stories that made her laugh and lift her spirits.
Nanette will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and the genuine care she had for others. Her memory will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
Nanette is survived by her husband, John Tan; children, John and James; and grandchild, Jordan.
