TONY ZUNCIC, 67, b. Jan. 7, 1952, d. Mar. 17, 2019.
Loving husband to his spouse Laura who pre-deceased him. Much
loved younger brother of his siblings, the late FRANK (Judith), PATRICIA GREVEN (John), STEVE (Dorothy), BARBARA PERKEY (Mark).
Youngest son of FRANK and THERESA; loved by many relatives and friends.
Died unexpectedly. TONY was a sweet, gentle, and generous man and a loving master to BOONE, his faithful companion dog who was with him when he
passed. Starting bakery work when young, TONY became an Executive Pastry Chef/Manager and Master Chef, taking rightful pride in all his creative abilities.
TONY also loved to compose new lyrics for myriad songs, each one
sharing a story about himself or his life. An enthusiastic CUBS fan,
TONY got to revel in the Cubs 2016 World Series victory.
Above all, we will especially miss Tony's unique laugh with which
he gave us his appreciation of some witty or humorous thing or event.
His gift to us all was his wonderful sense of humor, focused on the ironic twists and turns of life.
Tony, we all miss you terribly, and are especially thankful now all the more
for each and every day we had with you.
No service, and as per his wishes, cremated.
