Ann Thompson Carrel Berg Strickland Rowland passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018. She was exactly 94 years and 4 months old. She was a librarian for 20 years, both in Albuquerque, NM and Tucson, AZ. She received the John Cotton Dana award from the Special Libraries Association in 1986 at its annual national conference. She was preceded in death by three husbands. She is survived by 4 children and 2 granddaughters. She instilled a love of music in all of her children who will always remember car trips from Albuquerque to Denver. We will miss you, Mom. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the School of Information Science, University of Arizona.
