Kenneth Barron Wiggins, known to close family and friends as "Kenny", was born November 14, 1953 in Mobile, Alabama. He was kind hearted once you got passed his rough exterior. At an early age, he developed a deep love of music which eventually lead him to obtain a Fine Arts degree in Music from Murray State College in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He went on to become part of a band, Third Column" with a group of friends (Tommy Thompson, Eddie Moore, Sherry Pyrtle, Ronnie Robinson, Dwight Pickens, David Brown and Tony Roberts), where he at times sang lead as well as played the piano. Early in his music career his fashion and style was that of Marvin Gaye. As time went on, he widened his scope and began to enjoy various other artists such as Con Funk Shun, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Whispers and a special love of Frankie Beverly and Maze. Kenneth also had a passion for playing golf. He often spoke of getting back to playing as soon as he could get better.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Carl Bradshaw Wiggins, mother Lillian Ann Wiggins, sister Brenda Dale Wright and her son Tremaine, brothers Erick Lovell Wiggins and Shawn Bradshaw Wiggins. Kenneth is survived by his older son Dion Wiggins ( Stacey) and daughters Peyton Sauer, Jade, Avery and Ashlyn Resner), and his sons Trey, Tristin, Trevon and Tavian Wiggins; adopted son, Isaiah Marshall, and great grandson Mason Fieber; his younger son Kory Wiggins and his children Khai, Diamond, Na'lani and Ku'Lani Wiggins; and daughter Diara Dumas-Wiggins, sisters Angennetta Cummings and Kawana Rover, brothers Jerome Wiggins (Camelia), Karl Wiggins (Tracey) and Mika Wiggins (Kimberly). Kenneth is also survived by a host of other family members including nieces, nephews and cousins.
