He served in the military for 12 years which involved three tours in
Vietnam where he was a Huey door gunner and survived two major helicopter crashes. Claude was awarded a total of 14 medals some of which included: the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with silver star, two Bronze Stars, a Purple Heart, and the Distinguished Flying Cross.
Claude was a simple, humble man; quietly helping where he could, and living life the only way he could. Thank you Claude…for giving your all to our country.
