

Bill/Willie was born on a farm in Vukovar, Yugoslavia to Alexander and Maria Pfeiffer during World War II. After living as refugees in Austria for six years, their whole family immigrated to the US in 1950 to begin a new life.
He was a retired mechanic from Bi State/Metro for over 25 years as well as a contractor and builder. Bill will be remembered for his incredible industriousness, hospitality and generosity in helping many over the years.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Donna "Susie" Pfeiffer (nee Chandler), his three siblings Joseph (Katrina) Pfeiffer, Alex (Loretta) Pfeiffer and Gertrude Pfeiffer; his three children: Melissa "Missy" Pfeiffer, Holly (Robert) Brown, and Shawn (Sarah) Pfeiffer; six grandchildren: Alexis (Jason) Schneider, Magdalena "Lanie" (Marcus) Stephenson, Gwenyth "Lizzy" (Jaden) Zyjewski, Gertrude "Elly" Pfeiffer, Ivy Brown, and Wilibald "Duke" Pfeiffer; three great grandchildren: Sloane, Quinn, and Cavan Schneider.
He was preceded in death by his brother John and John's wife, Mary Pfeiffer and grandson Tommy Brown.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00pm on May 23, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6120 Gilead Dr., Cedar Hill, Mo. 63016
