Nancy Lee Engel

Nancy Lee Hartwell Engel, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 3rd, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Virginia and Lee Hartwell on January 13th, 1936.

She is a graduate of the University of Kansas and a member of Greentree Community Church, Delta Gamma Fraternity, and DAR. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Horst Bernhard Engel. and by her children and grandchildren, Mark (Lisa), Hayden, Reagan, and Harrison; Melinda (Paul) and Lexi; Michael (Stacy), Caroline, Tyler, Lawson and Wim; her nephew, Rob; and niece, Heather Warner (Mark).

Nancy's burial will be a private family ceremony. A Celebration of Life will be held at Greentree Community Church on May 13th, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
