Marsha was born and raised in Carrollton, MO. During high school her family relocated to Tulsa, OK where she graduated from Will Rogers High School. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Tulsa University and masters from Oklahoma State University. Shortly after graduating Marsha met Fred Haskell Perry on a blind date and the pair quickly fell in Love.
They married at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Tulsa. As Fred's career took off their young family was relocated several times, settling in Ft. Smith, AR to raise their two children. In the 80's a final move took them to Grapevine, Texas where she enjoyed 20 years as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block. Marsha loved going on walks, reading, camping and was an avid bridge player. Throughout her life, she maintained a positive outlook that uplifted and inspired others.
She always had a ready smile, a kind word and was quick to volunteer. Marsha was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with family and dear friends.
She was survived by her husband, Fred Haskell Perry, son Kevin Perry, daughter Carol Perry-Carvallo (Juan) and grandsons Brett and Mark Carvallo.
Marsha will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
