Margaret Ann Hoekstra

Margaret was born on March 21, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a nurse. In Marquette, Michigan, she served in the NICU at Marquette General Hospital, providing compassionate care to newborns and their families. During her time in Memphis, she worked with several doctors' offices before continuing her career in St. Louis as a nurse with Strictly Pediatrics. Her dedication to her patients extended beyond medical care—she often became a cherished part of their families.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, John Hoekstra; her children, Jeff Hoekstra (Valerie), Andy Hoekstra (Sandi), and Heidi Harris (Oniel); and her grandchildren, Ashley, Nick, Nate, Sean, Drew, Jaden, Gabi, and Teagan.

She will be remembered for her caring and loving nature and for always thinking of others. Her kindness and devotion touched many lives and will continue to be felt by those who knew her.
