Formerly of Morehead, MN, Albuquerque, NM and Bay Area, CA, Kent will be deeply missed by many.
He loved scuba diving, traveling, spoiling his rescue dogs, spending time with his family and friends and making his own craft beer. He was known for offering his (many times unsolicited opinions) of reasons he disliked Budweiser and other mass produced beers. He was a fan of HGTV and enjoyed spending his weekends working on projects around the house, at times sounding like the Dad in the movie 'A Christmas Story'. He brought joy and laughter to every room he entered. With tremendous grace and dignity, he lost his long battle with ALS. His joyful soul will be deeply missed. At least his body is free from this disease.
Kent is survived by his wife, Janine (nee Jorgensen), His father, Ronald Johnson, Brothers Scott(wife Karin) and Blaine (wife Tara) and nephews Jack and Sam.
He is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kent's name to the ALS Association, Team Gleason and The Humane Society of Missouri.
