Daniel Joseph Kaufmann

Dan was born Feb 19, 1973, the beloved son of the late Frank Ronald Kaufmann, Sr. and Marilyn (Jones) Kaufmann. He is survived by his brother, Frank Ronald (Michelle) Kaufmann, Jr. and the proud uncle to Tyler (Taylor Neu) Kaufmann and Trevor (Elaina) Kaufmann. Dan also recently became great-uncle to Kampbell Kaufmann.

As a child, Dan enjoyed spending hours with his brother especially in the martial arts studio learning karate as well as playing sports. The joy spent on these activities together as brothers led Dan to continue his passion for playing soccer throughout his high school career. You could always find him on the field during his time spent at Affton High School where he held the record of 28 goals in a single season. He also played in many select soccer leagues including Business Products and Coca Cola. As a sports fanatic, it is no surprise that Dan became a personal trainer. His love for training allowed him the opportunity to train many St. Louis professional sports members including Todd “the Animal” Ewing of the St Louis Blues. Personal training then inspired him to become an MMA fighter.

Dan enjoyed listening to many genres of music, watching sports (of course!) drinking beer with his brother and reminiscing on past adventures and experiences that brought smiles to his face. Many times, new details were shared, leaving all of those listening wondering where the heck they were for those fun times!

Dan will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life picnic will be held June 3, 2023 from Noon - 4:00pm at Wilmore Park Pavilion 1, 7200 Hampton Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63109
