Clarence arrived at his eternal home...
Clarence Leo Zeiszler was born July 18, 1938 to Leo and Caroline (Bieber) Zeiszler, the eldest of seven children in Fairview, Montana. Clarence grew up on a farm, raising sugar beets until 1950 when the family moved to Beulah, North Dakota. Clarence spent his teenage years working for farmers in various positions. Clarence loved harvest time working with the threshing crews, learning to work with a team of horses.
Clarence only attended school through the 8th grade opting to continue his farming wor, one trip to Oklahoma with custom combining crew, which was a great experience. The next wonderful experience was meeting his forever friend, Bonnie Huber at the local drive-inn. They attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church, attending Walther League together and other social activities. In 1957 he signed up for the Army Reserves, obtaining his basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, then went on to Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indiana, where he was honored as Best Soldier in his unit.
Returning home for Christmas he purchased a diamond ring to present to his best friend with the promise to be wed in June 1960. They moved to Bismarck and Clarence worked in the lumber industry and construction work. He attended school at Bismarck Junior College to finish his education. The couple extended their family with Leslie Jo who gave the couple a boy and girl grandchild. David Allen, and Daniel Lee (who is also deceased) and Debra Sue, who had three boys, one of which has blessed the happy couple with two great-grandchildren (1 boy and 1 girl).
Due to the lack of work during the North Dakota winters and at the invitation of Bonnie's uncle Mel, the family moved West to Anaheim, California in 1970. Clarence worked for Uncle Mel while at Knotts Berry Farm until he was offered a job driving freight with Noland Paper Company. He continued this line of work for 33 years before retiring. After retirement several moves to Northern California, Washington, Oregon and Wisconsin, Reno, Nevada, Spearfish, SD. Final destination to Hazelwood, MO to live with daughter Debbi and family where they lived happily ever after.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel, one grandson William Beene and brothers Leroy and Loren.
