Her Life
TX – Lindsie Hagdorn, age 68, passed away on July 15, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Lindsie grew up with a passion for synchronized swimming and was an accomplished, competitive twirler. She graduated from Edison High School and went on to build a life that focused on her children and grandchildren.
Her Legacy
Lindsie was a resilient mother and a loyal friend who had a laid-back personality. She spent her years working in education at Concordia Lutheran School, Natalia ISD, and UT Health Science Center in San Antonio as a teacher, administrative assistant, and clerk.
She worked hard to ensure her sons graduated successfully from high school and pursued sustaining post-secondary careers, and she sacrificed to make sure her daughter could attend private school and college.
Those who knew her will best remember her strong will, her enthusiasm for seeing new places, and her desire to live in the moment. Her kids and grandkids were her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into making memories with them special through meals, games, and laughter.
Surviving Family
She is survived by:
● Her children: Larry (Donna) Hagdorn, Lance (Jenni) Hagdorn, and Lindie (Mark) Yeary
● Her grandchildren: Ian, Halle, Riley, Jackson, Ella, and Audrey Hagdorn; Lillian and Ryan Yeary; and Marlena Zanella-Radaker
● Her siblings: Sandy Merrill, Randy (Linda) Smith, and Wendy (Mark) North
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Neva Smith, and her sister Cyndi Mayer.
Remembrance Details
Instead of a service, Lindsie chose to be cremated with her remains placed in specific locations that were meaningful to her. For those who would like to gather in her memory, she asked that those celebrations be full of cheer, laughter, and good times.
