Rick was a hard working, honest man whose creative genius left a legacy of waterfalls and waterscapes across the world: Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Aruba, Mexico, etc. He redesigned many of the exhibits at the Denver Zoo over a period of 8 years. His passion for breeding horses was well-known and he made many wonderful friends in his quest for that “perfect cross”. He was generous and quietly helped many people over the years. He especially loved his daughters and they were the highlight of his life.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Penrose for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
