

Michael Richard Coleman, age 85, of Point Reyes Station, California, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Montague, CA. He was born on August 18, 1940, in San Francisco, California to Klasine Coleman and James Caryl Coleman. Michael was raised in Carmel and Novato California before making his home in Point Reyes Station, California.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Debborah Wilson (Jimmy), his son, Steven Coleman (Jessica), his brothers; Todd, Collin, Daniel, and Wally Coleman. Michael is reunited in heaven with his sons; Michael, Bret, and Kelly Coleman, his brother, Jim Coleman, and sister-in-law, Doreen Coleman.
He was blessed with 5 grandchildren; Dustin Wilson, Daniel Coleman, Brandon Wilson, Joshua Coleman, and Lucas Coleman, as well as 3 great-grandchildren; Rylei Jo Wilson, Cedar Coleman, and Indie Coleman. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and his beloved cat, Ballou
A skilled contractor known for his genuine cowboy charm, warm smile, and kind spirit, was admired by all who knew him. He made his home in Point Reyes Station for 42 years, where he found joy in tending his vegetable garden, reading, feeding the birds, foraging wild mushrooms, and spending time outdoors.
Michael will be missed by his family, friends, and community. His warmth, laughter, and love of life will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held during the warm spring months.
