He was born on September 30, 1948, in Pasadena, California to Edgar Lenard Parker and Betty Jean Van Breeman. He was raised in Farmington, Michigan. Married Diane Lea Phillips on October 13, 1975, Deland, FL. Tom was a Cook in the Navy, Truck Driver, Mechanic among many other talents and most definitely known as an avid “scrapper”.
He was a resident of Deland, FL for 50 years and considered DeLand his hometown. Tom also spent many years at the Dirt Track (Volusia Speedway Park) where he watched races every Saturday night and in 2005, he became a driver with his son-in-law Kevin Dugan. He had many friends and never met a stranger. He Loved each of his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, either in person or from afar.
Tom is survived by his Wife Diane Parker and his (3) Children, Alan Parker (Deann Parker) Kelly Dugan (Kevin Dugan) and Kimberly Maldonado. 8 Grandchildren Brady McCorkle, Rebecca Manske Bigbie, Alex Parker, Ethan Parker, Bailey Dugan, Rayna Maldonado, David Maldonado, Jacob Maldonado. (3) Great Grandchildren, Caiden Parker, Layla Parker, and Theodore Bigbie (TJ). (2) siblings Alice Pickett and Allen Parker. Proceeded in death by his parents Edgar Lenard Parker, Betty Jean Van Breeman and (2) brothers, John Parker, and Martin (Marty) Parker.
