Patricia C. Lang

Pat was born the daughter of the late Una M. and Howard J. Campbell on January 30, 1937, in Keene, NH. She graduated from Keene High School class of 1955. Pat enjoyed cheerleading, playing basketball, and going to Big Band dances with friends. She attended Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and Keene State College in Keene.

On November 17, 1956, she exchanged vows with Philip E. Lang in Keene. Together they enjoyed over 66 years of marriage. Throughout those years they enjoyed living in Keene, Greenville SC, Dallas TX, Charlotte, and Matthews.

Mrs. Lang is survived by her husband Philip of Matthews, her two children, Gary Lang and his wife Shirley of Salisbury, and Douglas Lang and his wife Pamela of Matthews. She also is survived by grandchildren Sophia Lang of Matthews, Bailey Lang of Matthews, James Van Sicklin of Springfield, VT and Stacey VanValkenburg of Claremont, NH, and five great-grandchildren. In addition, she leaves extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 14th, 2023, at 11:00am at Matthews Glen, 733 Pavilion View Drive, Matthews, NC 28105. In keeping with the family’s wishes there are no calling hours and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in Pat’s memory to either the Samaritan’s Fund at Matthews Glen, 733 Pavilion View Drive, Matthews, NC 28105 or the Matthews HELP Center, P.O. Box 91, Matthews, NC 28106.
