Mary B. Yourman

Mary was born on January 7, 1950, to Edgar Wood Burroughs and Louise Buck Burroughs. Throughout her journey, she faced her illness with remarkable strength and grace, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edgar Wood Burroughs and Louise Buck Burroughs; her sisters, Adeline Burroughs Parker and Joanne Burroughs Healy; and her nephew, Michael Burroughs Healy.

She is survived by her beloved son, Christopher Wayne Helton; her niece, Patty Ann Heim; and her great-nephews, Michael Graham Heim and Jeremy Robert Barnes.

A service celebrating Mary's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Miller's Lutheran Church, 2280 12th Avenue NE, Hickory, NC 28601. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance, to celebrate Mary's life, and to honor the love and memories she leaves behind.
