Mary F. Mason

Mary Frances Mason Born August 5, 1932 Mary passed away December 18, 2016 with her loving son Jeff, Sister Betty and niece Sandra by her side. She is survived by her son Jeff Mason and sister Betty Tedder of Charlotte, sister Doris Knight of Leland, NC and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, eldest son Gene, sisters Ethel Black, Shirley McSwain and brother R L Knight. Mary was a loving mother and enjoyed family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking, dining, watching plays, live music, reading, short trips and attending church gatherings. She retired from Quail Hollow Country Club after thirty years. When she was younger she worked at the original Charlotte Douglas airport. A memorial will be held on January 7, 2017 @ 12 PM at Forest Hill Church 7224 Park Rd. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the church.
