Jerriene Joy O'Leary

Jerri was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Over the course of her life, she lived in Jenison, MI. Byron Center, MI, Bradenton, FL, and finally moved to Rockingham, NC to be closer to family. For many years, she and her husband Don spent their summers at Sandy Pines in Allegan County, MI.

Jerri loved people and gave generously to those in need. She loved to entertain, she loved to serve, and most of all she loved her Lord and shared that love with everyone she came in contact with.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald D. Miller and Delores E. Miller; sister, Ethel M. VanDommelen; daughter, Cynthia Ann Pomeroy; son in law Clarence Dean Pomeroy; grandchildren Gary Dean Pomeroy, Jimmy Dean Pomeroy, Eva Marie Burleson, and Kathryn Joy O'Leary; and great-grandchildren Daniel James Burleson, Tiffany Nicole Burleson, and Dallis Leigh Burleson.

She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of nearly 64 years Donald Edward O'Leary; children John (Leslie) O'Leary, Ed (Robin) O'Leary, Elizebeth (Timothy) Glass; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; sister Delora (Bob) DeYoung; brother-in-law Russ VanDommelen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at Place of Grace Campus, 252 School Street, Rockingham, NC 28379. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/POGCampus/
