James William Hanson

Jim was born on February 1, 1944, in Connersville, Indiana, to Marion Francis Hanson and Helen Charlene (Wyer) Hanson. After graduating from Connersville High School in 1962, he continued his education graduating from Kentucky Wesleyan College and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a Purchasing Manager with Ford Motor Company.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dianne Hanson.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Baker (Clint), and his son, Dustin Hanson (Jenna). He was a proud grandfather to Zakreigh (30), Ethan (23), and AJ (23) Baker, and Audrey (22), Braden (21), Kenzie (8), and Zander (6) Hanson.

Jim will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his quiet strength. He had a special love for dogs and always considered them among his closest companions—his last loyal friend being his dog, Rocky.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and cherished memories with those who knew him best. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
