Gregory Futch was a devoted man of God and the beloved pastor of Victim of Victim Ministries. A man of unwavering faith, Gregory was deeply committed to his calling and his community, embodying the love and compassion of Christ in all he did.
For over 40 years, Gregory shared a loving and God-centered marriage with his wife, Carrie Dula Futch. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, love, and service to others.
Gregory was a spiritual father to many, guiding countless sons and daughters in their journeys of faith. Known as a man who "wore a thousand hats," he was blessed with remarkable talents and gifts, which he used selflessly to bless those around him. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing an encouraging word, he showed unconditional love to everyone he met.
A cornerstone of his community, Gregory was deeply involved in charitable work. He tirelessly supported soup kitchens and men’s shelters, generously contributing his time and resources. He faithfully visited the sick and shut-in, and his presence was a constant source of joy at family gatherings and church events. Known fondly as "Mr. Fix-It," Gregory had an infectious sense of humor and a heart for service.
Gregory leaves behind a cherished legacy of love and family. He was the proud father of three children: daughters Chanda Patterson and Tiesha Smalls, and a beloved son who has preceded him in transitioning. He was a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren: Avery Flowers, Tyrek Flowers, Nigie Smalls, Dymond Robinson, and Kara Smalls. He is also survived by his sister, Jackie Futch of Philadelphia, PA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will continue to honor his memory.
Though Gregory will be deeply missed, his life of faith, service, and unconditional love has left an indelible mark on all who knew him. We thank God for the blessing of Gregory Futch and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.
