It is with great sadness that we announce the death of “Gene”, Eugene Collins Abrams Jr. of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 78 on February 10, 2023.
He is survived by his son Scooter Abrams, of Charlotte, NC, his daughter Kristin Abrams-White of Charlotte, NC, his grandson Cooper Abrams, and two sisters Lucy Fago of Los Angeles, CA and Kathy Porteus of Georgetown, TX.
Gene was a former Vietnam Army Helicopter Veteran and long time Chain Crew member (25 years) with the Carolina Panthers. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
