Deborah Jane Kirby

Deborah (Debbie) J. Kirby age 76 of Charlotte passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2024. She was born on June 8, 1948 in Mooresville, North Carolina to the late Worth Alley and Louise Hooks. Debbie was the youngest of 4 and is survived by her sisters Barbara Keith and Shirley Gilliland, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sibling Wayne Alley.

Debbie lived in Charlotte, North Carolina with the love of her life, best friend and husband Tommy Kirby. Debbie loved taking trips to the mountains where shopping was always an adventure. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and never missed an opportunity to love on her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Debbie's proudest accomplishment was her beautiful family. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 4 children: Johnny Kirby, Tony Kirby, Jody Kirby, Buffy Dover and their spouses, children and grandchildren.
