Clark Edward Gant

Clark E. Gant was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Ophelia Clara Mell Parker of Woodville, Mississippi (deceased), and Edward Gant of New Orleans, Louisiana (deceased). He was also preceded in death by his brother, Oliver Johnson of San Diego, California.

Clark proudly served in the United States Army in 1973 and was employed by Independent Beverage in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Clark is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Margaret Shepperson-Gant of Charlotte, North Carolina, and two sisters-in-law, Delores Shepperson of Paterson, New Jersey, and Barbara Eaddy of Kissimmee, Florida.

He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends, including Bernard Sledge, Yuri Nichols, Brenda Hall, Barbara Hall, Algi Williams, Jerry Williams, Regina Matthews, and JP (deceased).

He also leaves cherished memories with his adopted nieces, Ruth Bell and Rochelle (RoRo) Barlows.
