Better known as Walter to family and friends, he preferred to live a quiet lifestyle in his little apartment except when his daughter would "drag" him out. He loved watching TV and enjoyed attending sports events, especially football, music and theater performances. He adored anything to do with Frank Sinatra and was able to attend a live performance!
Walter is survived by his brother, Jack Pizzi of Biloxi MS; three daughters, Laura Elkins of Charlotte, NC, Jacqueline Dahill and Tamra Richter of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Thomas (TJ) Dahill, James Dahill, Krystal Grow and Paul Elkins; six great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his brother, Mauro (Buddy) Pizzi; grandson, Stephen D'Alessandro; and his parents, Sergio and Marion (Spellman) Pizzi.
His jobs were many over the years, truck driver, welder, bartender and convenience store clerk, but his favorite was driving taxi in Boston, MA. He had many dogs that were true companions over the years as well, he was survived by Coco and pre-deceased by Sonny, Buster, another Coco, Poodles King Kong and Candy.
