Carroll Lou Jensen

She lived in Florida during her early years and the family found their way to Enumclaw, WA where she graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1955. While in school Carroll met Ronald F Jensen and they were married, August 10, 1957 in Jefferson, CO. Ron was enlisted in the US Navy and they set up residence in Norfolk, VA. In 1959 they moved to San Jose, CA to be close to her family. With the housing boom starting in Washington State the family moved to Enumclaw, WA in 1966 where they resided until 1989.

Carroll was a Police Dispatcher for the Enumclaw Police Department and moved over to run the Enumclaw Courts until she moved.

Carroll loved traveling and after her last child graduated from high school she moved to Denver, CO. She worked for the Federal Government at Veterans Affairs until she finally retired. Her and her cousin traveled the US for two years after retirement, working as Park Hosts and at county fairs to offset their income. She loved seeing the country and finding the family ancestry. She visited Jerusalem, which was the highlight of her travels.

Carroll moved to Apache Junction, AZ where she remained until 2017.

Carroll moved back up to Washington and then to Vale, NC where she lived with her son Paul and his wife Amy until her passing.

Carroll is preceded in death by her Grandson Kenny Chapman, brother(s) William (Bill), Michael and Giles Ellenwood. Ex-husband Ronald F Jensen and her parents James Ellenwood and Ardith (Miller) O’Harrow.

Carroll is survived by her seven children; Ronald (Sharon) Jensen, New Castle, DE, Christine (Andy) McAfee, Graham, WA, Paul (Amy) Jensen, Vale, NC, Mary Jo Jensen, Tacoma,WA, Lucy (Wayne) Chapman, Surprise, AZ, Martin (Nicole) Jensen, Bonney Lake, WA and Thomas Jensen, Surprise, AZ. Three sisters; Jacqueline Navarro, Lincoln, CA, Catherine (Matt) Ellenwood-Bader, Elk Grove, CA, Mary (Larry) Wakefield, Galt, CA and brother Steven (Cindy) Ellenwood, Lake Elsinore, CA, eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren along with numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
