It is with heavy hearts and deep love that our family remembers Grandma Margie, a remarkable woman whose presence was as bold and unforgettable as her spirit. While words can never fully capture the weight of this loss, we find comfort in honoring a life that was truly, unapologetically lived.
Grandma Margie was born in Brisbane and grew up in Sunol, where the roots of her strength and independence first took hold. She attended Amador High School in Pleasanton and went on to raise her two children, Larry and Camille, in Hayward, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family. Later in life, she joined a company where fate introduced her to Allen, the man who would become her beloved husband and partner in life.
After retiring, Margie embraced a life filled with adventure, love, and beauty. She split her time between Pleasanton, California and Maui, savoring every moment and experience. In her later years, she also spent part of her time in Copperopolis, continuing to live life on her own terms, surrounded by places she loved.
Grandma Margie was strength and charisma personified. She entered every room with confidence, grace, and a wicked sense of humor that left a lasting impression. She knew her worth, tolerated no nonsense, and lived with a clarity that only comes from a life well earned. Her laughter was contagious, her conversations unforgettable, and the time spent with her was nothing short of pure gold.
She lived fully and fearlessly—traveling the world, embracing love without hesitation, and sharing a deep, magical partnership with her husband. She didn’t just support a legacy of strong, fearless women; she was that legacy. A trailblazer in every sense, Grandma Margie set the bar high and inspired generations to live boldly and authentically.
She is survived by her loving husband Allen; her son Larry and daughter Camille; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her strength, fire, and love.
We are profoundly grateful for the fierce, beautiful energy Grandma Margie shared with all of us. Her life continues on through our memories, our stories, and the love she leaves behind. She will forever be missed and always deeply loved.
