Wilbur Eugene Cagle

Wilbur Eugene “Gene” Cagle of Lenoir City, TN passed away on August 30, 2022 at the age of 75. He was born in Knoxville, TN on August 24th, 1947. He was an active member of Walk by Faith Christian Church in Lenoir City. Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing, & his family. He never met a stranger, loved everyone, had a big heart & was always there to help anyone in need.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; Lee & Evelyn Cagle, brothers; Lum Henry “Buster” Cagle & Johnnie Cagle, & best friend; Donald “Duck” Emert.

He leaves behind his wife; Rebecca Cagle, Sons & Daughters in law; David & Erica Cagle, Jimmy & Beth Courtney, Timothy & Janice Oglesby, Daughters & Sons in Law; Jodie & John Woolard, Carla & Andrew Rousseau, Grandchildren; Kailey Selby, Dylan Colebrooke, Tabitha Selby, Erin Courtney, Tyler Capps, Devin Capps, Gabe Capps, & numerous other grandchildren, Sister & Brother in Law; Juanita “NiNi” & Paul Larsen, & Brother; Charlie Cagle.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Walk by Faith Christian Church of Lenoir City in memory of Gene.
