Vera Mai Thompson

Vera Mai Thompson, age 76, of Nashville, Tennessee her sunset was on Monday, July 31, 2023. Her sunrise was on January 8, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late mother, Mildred McCarrol Wray. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Richard Michael Thompson, Jr. and siblings, Willie Bell McCarroll, Robert Wray and Minnie Clay.

Vera is survived by her beautiful daughters, Angela Walker (Steven) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Michell Rosario of Lawton, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Steven Walker, II, D`Angelo Walker, Desmon Walker, Brandi Sims (Oscar), Miguel A. Rosario, Jr., Dru Rosario, Dana Rosario, Richard Michael Thompson Champman (Nadia), Denise Wilkerson, Montez Stewart and Makiya McKinnon; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; siblings, James Milton, John W. Wray, Eugene Wray and Manda Wray.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, from six until seven o'clock in the the evening at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 901 Benton Ave., Nashville, TN 37204.
