Thomas D. McEldowney, 86 of Nashville passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Alive Hospice. He was born November 19, 1939, in Elkins, WV. He was the son of the late William E., Sr. and Thelma Sturm McEldowney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William E. McEldowney, Jr. and sister-in-law, Wanda.
Tom is survived by his wife, Janet; a daughter, Kim(Neil) Pennycuff; granddaughters, Ashley (Matt) Chapman and Allison Pennycuff; great-grandchildren, Parker and Hadley Chapman, three nieces and a nephew; stepchildren, Shane Dopp, Eric (Kym) Dopp, Jodi (Michael) Johnson; five step-grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren, plus other loving family and friends.
Tom never met a stranger and he was a proud Vietnam War Veteran.
