Theresa Wenner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Jean (Panchari) Wenner, age 78, who passed away on October 30, 2024, in Nashville, TN. Born on December 21, 1945, in Minersville, PA, to Joseph and Anna Panchari. Theresa lived a life marked by her love for adventure, travel, and deep devotion to her family and faith.

Theresa was a vibrant presence, known for her love of traveling and shopping, and her annual trips to the beach with her extended family. These gatherings were cherished times where she indulged in her passion for the sun and spoiling her grandchildren, creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Her faith was a significant part of her life, finding comfort and strength in her love for the Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was a devout member of Holy Guardian Angels Church in Reading, PA before moving to Nashville and becoming active in St Ignatius Church.

She leaves behind a loving family: her husband of 59 years, Thomas Wenner; daughter JoAnn Morrow and her husband Keith; son Jim Wenner; daughter Karen Goodson and her husband Rob; daughter Jen Schwartz and her husband Tyler; son Tim Wenner and his wife Sally; along with 15 beloved grandchildren.

Theresa's life was one of warmth, generosity, and an unending love for her family and friends. Her legacy of joy and devout faith will live on through the many lives she touched.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9th, at 11:00 am at St Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church.
