Tammie Ensey Bullington

Tammie Ensey Bullington, 68, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on October 27, 2026. Born September 3, 1958, in Puerto Rico while her father was stationed with the United States Air Force during the Cold War, Tammie later grew up in Nashville, where her steady gentleness and kind-hearted presence became a lasting gift to those who knew her.

In 1976, Tammie attended her senior prom with Stephan Bullington. Though their lives took their own courses, their paths continued to cross through the years, and in 2014 they were married—an enduring reflection of the quiet devotion and generous spirit that shaped the way Tammie loved and lived.

Tammie built a career rooted in care for others. A Master Barber, she worked in the Brentwood area for more than 15 years with All About You Salon & Day Spa. She was also a massage therapist and a professional colorist, bringing patience, compassion, and a selfless attentiveness to her work—qualities that made others feel seen, comforted, and valued.

Her love for life was often found outdoors. Tammie enjoyed hiking, kayaking, camping, and time at the beach, and she delighted in antiques and the works of the author Jane Austin. Her generous heart also guided her beyond her own daily life and into service, as she loved doing mission work through her church and volunteered at The Room at the Inn.

Tammie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Elmore Ensey and Betty Jean (Murdock) Ensey; her brother, Tommy Roger Ensey; and her babies, Fancy, Louie, and Petey.

Tammie is survived by her spouse, Stephan Bullington; a host of friends and extended family; and her babies, Jake and Lucy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced soon and will be held at Center for Spiritual Living Nashville, 160 Belle Forest Cir, Nashville, TN 3722.
