

Ronald Charles Dupee, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Smyrna, Tennessee. He was born on March 16, 1946, in Palo Alto, California. Ron was a longtime resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, before moving to the beautiful state of Tennessee about five years ago, a place he truly loved and was grateful to call home.
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 30 years, Linda Dupee; his son, Steve; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many cherished family members and dear friends who will greatly miss his kindness, humor, and love for life. Ron proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He had a lifelong passion for aviation and became a commercial hot air balloon pilot in
1983. He owned and operated Memory Maker Balloon Rides for over 25 years, creating unforgettable experiences and memories for countless people throughout the years. Ron also worked as a sales representative for Lawson Industrial Hardware for 15 years, where he built many lasting friendships and professional relationships.
Known for his adventurous spirit and warm heart, Ron was beloved by all who knew him. He embraced life fully and especially treasured his years living in beautiful Tennessee. Ron's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
