Richard Stanley Sabaski Sr.

On March 7, 2018, Richard Stanley Sabaski Sr., 78, joined his loving wife, Patricia Rita (Reilly) Sabaski, his parents, Theodore Sabaski, Sr. and Beatrice (Dennis) Sabaski and his grandson, Sean Patrick Sabaski, Jr. in the presence of the Lord. He is survived by his 5 children, Richard Sabaski (Carolyn), Jacqueline Sabaski (Jeff Susan), William Sabaski (Cindy), Sean Sabaski (Karen), Derrick Sabaski, 10 grandchildren, Michael Lawrence, Krystal Sabaski, Devin Sabaski, Ryan Sabaski, Emily Susan, Cody Sabaski, Tara Susan, Ciara Sabaski, Billy Joe Sabaski, Karina Sabaski, and his cousin, Antonio Silva.

A longtime resident of Lebanon, Tennessee, Richard was born in East Orange, New Jersey. He retired after 33 years from New Jersey Transit. Richard enjoyed his family, his dog, Penny, and camping. He was a member of BPOE Elks, Post 1591. Richard was also a member of the Good Sams Club, Music City Sams and welcomed his role as greeter.

Mass will be conducted at St. Francis Cabrini Church at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 12, 2018 with a Celebration of Life held directly after the service in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard Sabaski's name to St Jude's Hospital, Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
