Paulette York Buchanan

Paulette York Buchanan, age 75, passed away on May 3rd , 2023 in Smyrna, TN. She was born on June 20th, 1947 to Lewis Edward York, Sr and Lucille Lawrence York in Lafayette, Tn. She has lived in several different states but has lived the last 10 years in Murfreesboro.

Paulette was a Registered Nurse and enjoyed several years of her career as a hospice nurse.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister Nancy L York and brother Lewis Edward York, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Nanette (Brian) Clark of Wright City, Mo and Janette (Shannon) Pope of Mt. Pleasant, TN. as well as 3 grandchildren, Christopher Clark, Ashley Clark and Nathan Pope. She is also survived by siblings Judy (Jimmy) Melton, Shauna (Tommy) Wilson, Richard (Sherry) York and Beverly (Audrey) Stanley all of Rutherford County, TN. She also leaves behind many cousins, colleagues and friends.

Many thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Smyrna Care Center for their help and caring support during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
