

Mickey Trailov, 79, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Nashville surrounded by loving family. He was born May 15, 1946, in Cairo, Egypt, to the late Aurel and Tatiana Trailov. Mickey was raised in Lemont, Illinois, and spent his adult life in Franklin and Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Mickey is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan Gilliland Trailov, and their children: Michael (Jacque) Trailov and Mary Susanne (Keith) Hollister; his six grandchildren: Lucy, Emilia, Christian, and Mary Trailov, and Kirby and Susanna Rose Hollister; and his five siblings: Paul Anthony, Marie (Milan) Nikitovich, Nadine (Ty) Bobit, Janet McColl, and Nevette (Jim) Neal. He is preceded in death by his brothers Danny and Pete Trailov.
Mickey was a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He worked as an Assistant Trainer at Bellvue Acres and Delanie Farms in Illinois where he was responsible for the training and care of show horses. He began his professional career at Fort Dodge Pharmaceutical-Biological Laboratories where he worked for 20 years as a Sales Representative and later as a Regional Sales Manager. He continued his career as an investment advisor for 24 years with A.G. Edwards and Hilliard Lyons. After retirement, Mickey proudly volunteered for 11 years in the Physical Therapy Department at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. He was an avid runner and accomplished tennis player.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:30 am on Monday, December 29, 2025, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 510 West Main Street, Franklin, Tennessee.
