Lois Elizabeth Harper

Lois West Harper, age 96 of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Lois was a graduate of Litton High School in Nashville, TN. She was a long-standing member of The Nashville Women's Club. She also loved attending the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her eldest son, Louis C. Jinkins (2009). She is survived by her children, Maynard B. Jinkins and daughter-in-law, Helen Jinkins; Jack W. Jinkins and daughter-in-law, Lisa Jinkins; Robert E. Jinkins and daughter-in-law, Leslie Jinkins; daughter-in-law, Claudia Jinkins - widow of Louis C. Jinkins; Joe Harper and Nancy Harper Parnell. She was also survived by her sister, Corinne W. Parnell; two nephews; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and an extended family too numerous to mention. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Rutland Place Senior Community, 435 NW Rutland Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122.
