Ken was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Clifford and Loretta Anderson and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School. He attended Iowa State Teachers College prior to joining the Army where he served as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne, Ft. Bragg, NC.
After moving from Iowa to Florida, Ken worked as a bricklayer and a Florida State Trooper before moving to Tennessee. He retired as a Criminal Investigator from the Williamson County Sheriffs Department with over 30 years' service, during which time he held many positions and received numerous awards.
He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Linda, daughters Anne-Marie Campbell (Joby), Stacie L. Wegman (Michael), grandchildren Joseph Fankhauser (Brooke), Nick Wegman (Tori), Rebecca Loome (Eric), C.J. Campbell, Kenneth (Jake) Campbell, and great-grandson Elijah Wegman as well as brothers Gary Anderson (Shari) of Leesburg, FL and Donald Anderson (Cindy) of Spring Hill, TN.
We would like to thank the staff at the Arbors of Willow Springs, Spring Hill, TN for their compassion and excellent care during his time with them as well as Heart N Soul Hospice who was there for the family and made his last journey easier.
