Born in Oceanside, CA to Dorothy and Richard Thiesing Cheryle was the younger of 2 children. She was preceded in death by both parents and her older brother Ron Thiesing.
She grew up in Southern California and graduated from Ramona HS in Riverside CA where she was active in marching band as a majorette and graduated in 1968.
Introduced to her first husband Chuck by her brother they married in August 1968 and had one child, a daughter (Cathy) in October 1969.
Cheryle attended cosmetology school and began a career as a hairdresser that lasted until her daughter was almost done with high school and she went back to school for administrative secretary training.
In 1980 Cheryle’s brother introduced her to Ed Eisen who she married in July 1981 and they remained together until he passed away in February 2022.
Cheryle and Ed both enjoyed camping and fishing and traveling together. Cheryle was a die hard Los Angeles Dodgers baseball fan and grew to love the Tennessee Titans after moving to the Nashville area in 1995.
Cheryle loved her country music and especially Alan Jackson. Radio personality Shawn Parr once gave her the nickname “Chattahoochee Honey” because of her dedication to Alan Jackson.
Once in Tennessee Cheryle and Ed bought a home in Hendersonville where they lived together until his death when Cheryle moved to Hermitage and The McKenderee tower.
While in Hendersonville Cheryle worked for the first 10 years or so as an administrative aide at Carman Girard and Associates. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville where she participated in choir and later learned the flute and played in the orchestra.
In her final years she enjoyed listening to her music and watching her sports. She always still loved her kitty cats and learned new hobbies while making many new friends.
Cheryle is survived by her daughter Cathy Jones (Bruce) of Billings MT; Grandsons, CJ(Clynton)Trewyn of USAF and Joseph Trewyn of Billings, MT and Granddaughter, Courtney Trewyn of Glasgow, MT. There were 5 great grandchildren by either blood or marriage, Sophia, Julius, Renli, Haezli and Journi. Also, nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends and loved ones.
A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at McKendree Towers, 2nd Flr. Activity Room, 4343 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076
