Charlene Ann Dunn

Charlene Ann Dunn of Chapmansboro, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on May 6, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, where she grew up with her two brothers and four sisters.

Charlene graduated from Seton High School in Baltimore, MD. She married and had her two sons, George C. Dunn III and Thomas M. Dunn, who meant the world to her. She worked as a customer service representative for multiple federal agencies, concluding her career at the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD. Charlene was actively involved in being a dedicated fiancée, a loving grandparent, mother, and mother-in-law. Her family meant everything to her. She loved solving puzzles and enjoyed the hot wings her fiancé, Kevin Johnson, would make for her. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Carson; her mother, Helen Carson; her older brother, John Carson; and her older sister, Ellen Nason.

She is survived by her two sons, George C. Dunn III and Thomas M. Dunn. She also leaves behind her fiancé, Kevin Johnson. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to God for Charlene’s life and the many ways it touched others, to close friends for their support, to those who shared kind words and condolences on social media, and to their church family for the comfort and encouragement offered during this difficult time.
