Cathy was born on November 23, 1951 in Sanford, NC to Maxine and Calvin Patterson. Cathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed hiking, yoga, reading, gardening, beekeeping and kayaking. She always looked for opportunities to serve her community and church. She had a love for dogs and her pets were considered part of the family. Her uplifting spirit and thoughtfulness of others were truly remarkable.
Family meant everything to Cathy and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. While her favorite place was, her back porch listening to the birds and reading a book, she cherished every opportunity to visit family and friends and watch her grandchildren do the things they love.
She will be remembered by her husband, David, of 50 years, daughters, Elizabeth (Jay) Alexander and Christin (Nate) Lamberth, brother, Thomas Patterson, sister, Gaye Capps and grandchildren, Jillian, Lucas, Emmy, and Colton.
We look forward to celebrating her beautiful life on October 14, 2023 at 11:00am at Kingston Springs United Methodist Church, 368 North Main Street, Kingston Springs, TN.
