Carrie Turner Dauwen

Carrie's journey, Care Bear as we called her, through this life ended August 17, 2023, but she remains in our hearts always. Those who continue the journey are, her Mother, Linda O'Hora Turner, devoted Brother, Philip Jay Turner, Niece, Kayla Turner-Trosdahl (Shayne), Great Niece, Kahlan Turner, Grandparents, Barbara & Richard O'Hora, "Sisters," Stacey Webster & Roxanne Bostic, along with loving family friends, J.W. & Patricia Fralix, Maggie French, Chris Stratton & many others. She is also survived by loving, caring Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Carrie shared a special bond with her Aunt Sheryl Jones.

For 30 years, Carrie was a dedicated teacher who inspired many children to enjoy learning and to care for others. As Co-Director of Dodson Chapel Childcare, she was blessed with enthusiastic, talented Co-Directors, teachers and support staff. Her dear friends, her TRIBE meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed.
