Rosalyn Ann Johnson (Roe) was born September 29, 1937 and passed away on July 3, 2026. She passed peacefully in the night with no suffering or pain. Roe was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Martha Unruh. Her husband Robert Duwayne Johnson (Bob) and her brother, Victor Unruh. She is survived by her sisters Judy Herwalt and Lois Grauer and her children Aron Johnson, Robert Johnson, Marcy Kirkhart and Renee Skeels. Roe had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Additionally Roe adopted others into her family by marriage or choice and was a great support to her whole family in many ways.
She was an educator teaching elementary school in Kerman, CA and Auberry, CA and middle school at Foothill Middle School in Prather, CA. Many of her students have fond memories of her including her utilizing a rubber chicken for classroom hijinks.
Roe was a lover of music beginning in middle school when she played the stringed bass. Additionally, she played the piano and loved classical music. She once purchased a baby grand piano when Bob went on a hunting trip. She was one of the most generous people that the family knew. Roe loved the ocean and the outdoors and in her early married life went on hikes, enjoyed off-roading and lived in a cabin in the mountains below Shaver Lake.
Roe moved to Idaho with family in 2022. She loved going for drives and exploring new places. She enjoyed Monday Night Football potlucks with her adopted Idaho family.
She remained spunky until the end even banging her cup on the table to “request” another beverage! She had a personal relationship with God and was a prayer warrior which family will miss the most. She knew her final destination was eternity in heaven and is dancing in the streets of glory with Jesus and Bob.
There will be no public service at her request.
