Bob was born in Glendive, Montana to parents Alpen and Magdalena Undem on September 18th, 1942.
Bob graduated from Rocky Mountain College in 1966 with a degree in Biology. He spent most of his life in education. He taught biology, chemistry, physics, earth science and driver’s education at the high school level for many years.
Bob had a colony bee business, equipment rental business, and worked as a self-employed contractor and accomplished much more in his rich life.
Bob loved teaching. He gave his time and support for junior and high school rodeo, junior trapshooting and youth golf. Bob was a great marksman himself.
He signed up for the military in November of 1959 and completed an impressive career in 2002. Bob was highly honored and respected for his work ethic and earned many remarkable honors, decorations and awards.
We would like to thank the hospice staff for their time and care. Deanna, Renee, Gurun, Leanne, Megan and all of the nurses we had in our village: thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Bob leaves behind his best coffee buddies; Leroy, Tom, Bill, Don, Don Jr, Jeff, Wayne, Jerry and Frank. If I’m missing one of you, I’m sorry.
Bob is survived by his wife; Christine, his five stepchildren; James, Joanne, Teri, Matthew and Stephanie. Nieces Shawn (Gary) and Erica (Dave).
I love and miss you so. Take special care darlin’ until I see you again.
As per Bob’s wishes, there will be no services. Upon cremation his family will take him to a special place in the mountains of Montana.
