Cassaundra Mae Gatica

Cassie was born on November 9, 1991, to John W. Sutto II and Tina L. Sutto. She grew up surrounded by family and carried that love throughout her life. She was a devoted wife to Adam D. Gatica and a loving mother to her two sons, Jack River Gatica and Oscar John Gatica, who were the center of her world.

Cassie dedicated her life to her family and especially to her boys. She homeschooled Jack and Oscar, investing her time, energy, and heart into their growth and education. She was their biggest supporter and could always be found cheering them on from the sidelines at baseball, basketball, and soccer games. Whether it was practices, games, lessons, or activities, Cassie was there every step of the way. She took great joy in encouraging her sons’ interests and treasured every moment spent helping them learn and grow.

Cassie loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion, her caring heart, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her.

Cassie is survived by her husband, Adam D. Gatica; her sons, Jack River Gatica and Oscar John Gatica; her parents, John W. Sutto II and Tina L. Sutto; her sisters, Tori A. Sutto and Natalie J. Sutto; her grandmother, Linda Mae Opczynski; her Nana, Donna Mae Sutto; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerome Opczynski and John W. Sutto.

Cassie’s love, kindness, and dedication to her family leave a lasting legacy in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Though she is gone too soon, she will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
