Russell Lee Bell

He was born on April 17, 1939 in Iowa.

He was married to Mary Ellen (Nissley) Bell for 68 years.

Russell owned his own mason/tile contractor business. He then later went back to school to become a Building Engineering Inspector for the County of Los Angeles, California.

Russell was an Elder at the Church of the Living Word in Washington, Iowa at 30 years old.

He faithfully attended Church on the Way in California and then at Mountaintop Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama where he and his wife retired.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, George Bell, his mother, Gladys (Sinkey) Bell, his brothers, John and Lonnie Bell, his sisters, Jeannie Porter and Nancy Payne.

Russell is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Nissley) Bell, his three children, Rick Bell (Sue), Tim Bell (Jennifer) and LaDonna Rausch; his four granchildren, Daniel and Chyanna Rausch, William and Emma Bell.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 7th at Mountaintop Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Vistation will be from 2:00-2:30; service will begin at 2:30pm.
